Menopausal Hormone Therapy

MHT, personalized to your body — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Menopausal hormone therapy is precision medicine: your hormone combination, dose, and delivery method are built around your labs, symptoms, and goals, then adjusted over time as your body changes.

In-person visits & telehealth. Telehealth available in VA, TX, IL & FL.

What Is MHT

Three hormones, working together

MHT restores hormone levels that decline during perimenopause and menopause. Your exact combination and ratios come from comprehensive testing and an assessment of your symptoms and health goals.

  • Estradiol

The primary form of estrogen used in MHT. Supports cardiovascular, bone, brain, and vaginal health, and is the hormone most responsible for relieving hot flashes and night sweats.

  • Progesterone

Balances estrogen and protects the uterine lining. Also acts as a neurosteroid that supports sleep, calm, and nerve repair.

  • Testosterone

Supports libido, energy, mood, and focus. Often added when symptoms like low desire or persistent fatigue don't fully resolve with estrogen and progesterone alone.

  • Additional support

Depending on your labs and symptoms, we may also address thyroid hormone, DHEA, or melatonin as part of your plan.

Why It Matters

Why MHT done right matters

Evidence-based hormone therapy that prioritizes your safety and your long-term health — not just symptom relief.

Safety

Safe & Effective

When prescribed and monitored correctly, MHT can meaningfully lower your risk of chronic disease. We follow current, evidence-based protocols at every step.

Evidence

Evidence-Based

Every treatment plan is built on current medical literature. We track new research in hormone therapy so your care stays current, not static.

Nuance

Complex & Nuanced

Hormone therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. We take the time to understand your full health picture and adjust as your body changes.

Impact

Lifesaving Potential

This isn't only about feeling better today — it's about lowering long-term risk for heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and dementia.

Personal

Personalized Care

Your hormones are unique to you. Treatment is built around your health profile, symptoms, risk factors, and goals — not a template.

Together

Partnership Approach

This is your health journey, and you're in the driver's seat. We work together on every decision, always in your best interest.

Treatment Options

How MHT is delivered

Several delivery methods are available, each with its own advantages. We'll help you choose the one that fits your goals and lifestyle.

Creams & Gels

Applied daily to the skin. Easy to adjust, with good absorption.

Oral Tablets

Taken daily. Offer excellent cardiovascular protection.

Patches

Changed every few days. Convenient, though absorption can vary and cardiovascular protection is lower than with oral dosing.

Vaginal Preparations

Targeted relief for vaginal dryness and urinary symptoms, often used alongside systemic MHT.

A note on pellets: we don't offer hormone pellets. Once inserted, the dose can't be adjusted for 3–6 months, they can deliver levels higher than your body would naturally produce, and insertion carries a small risk of infection, bruising, or scarring. We prefer methods that let us fine-tune your dose as your body responds.
How We Work

Our approach

Trust & Relationship

MHT requires a strong provider-patient relationship built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect.

Shared Decision-Making

Every treatment decision is made together, always in your best interest. You're never pressured — you're informed.

Ongoing Optimization

Hormone therapy is a process, not a one-time fix. We continue to adjust your treatment as your needs evolve.

Comprehensive Care

We look at the whole picture: your symptoms, your health risks, your lifestyle, and your goals for the future.

Am I a Candidate?

You may be a good fit for MHT if you're in perimenopause or postmenopause with symptoms affecting your quality of life.

A family history of breast cancer or blood clots is not a contraindication to MHT on its own. We'll do a thorough evaluation together to determine what's
